MARBRÉ NO. 38
The No. 38 Peacock pattern is marbled with light magenta pink, light beige, black and white.
First created in the late 18th century, a Peacock pattern starts with a Nonpareil base where colours are tapped onto the bath and then combed twice horizontally and once vertically. Lastly, the Nonpareil base is combed in wavy lines with a two-teethed comb vertically.
Peacock is also called Pfauen, Plume de Paon, Queue de Paon, and Bouquet.
