The No. 29 Wavy Feather pattern is marbled with deep red, black, metallic gold and copper, on black paper.
The Feather pattern is not very common by itself, but is used as a start for other patterns. The pattern is created by combing sprinkled colours back and forth in extended waves with a gelgit comb (gelgit is Turkish for the tide, or coming and going).
Feather is also called Gel-Git, Reverse Combed, Forward Backward, Chevron, Peigné Retorné, and Zurückegener Kamm.
