The No. 20 Antique Straight pattern is marbled with a pale scale of pinky red, lavender, blue, light green, off-white, burgundy, black, dark turquoise, and mint.
Antique Straight is an old pattern, known from as early as the 17th century. It is made by completing a Feather pattern by combing the sprinkled colours back and forth with a gelgit comb (gelgit is Turkish for the tide, or coming and going). When the colours have reached an attractive whole, fine drops of additional colours are gently sprinkled on the entire bath. These new spots push against the lines of colour.
